August CT Packet notes

From K1HEJ:

August 2009 Packet notes

Updated packet notes:
8/1/09

ICRC KA stand alone node operational on 145.07.

The East Net Backbone nodes in CT as of this date are:
W1EDH 145.09 Glastonbury, W1HAD Shelton 145.05; W1WCG North Haven, KD1RY Bethel CT 145.03 and K1YON in East Hartland (UHF only). As of 8/1/09, the RF link path between KD1RY and his linking partners is still down.

Much of Central western CT is also served by K2PUT-2 in Carmel NY on 145.61.

With the exception of KD1RY-4 all associated FBB BBS’s forward NTS messages with W1WCG-4 having a HF pactor port for NTS through.

The ICRC 147.15 Burlington repeater continues to be available for digital modes but please schedule such experiments with N1JGR or K1HEJ BEFORE conducting such experiments. This is to allow trustees and monitors to be advised before hand. This prevents wasted time chasing gremlins.

Larry K1HEJ
