Sign up with N1JGR@snet.net Each year Rick N1JGR coordinates with a local scout troop so that our club provides communications between checkpoints and stations for the Boy Scouts of America's Klondike Derby. We do this for an entire weekend, as it lets us practice setting up, deploying, and activating as we would be required to do in an emergency. During the weekend we operate all modes, and and all bands. this is a GREAT way to get more exposure to ham radio and we can always use more help so please consider coming down to volunteer to work a station or help out.

Note: This years Klondike will be on February 6th and 7th, 2010 at 231 Ashford Center Road. Ashford, CT 06278 at June Norcross Webster Scout Camp RTE 44 IF you can only be available for one day then please do sign and state only one day. Most number of hams are needed on Sat The 6th and a fewer number needed for the 7th.
