What is the ICRC?

Welcome to the Insurance City Repeater Club website. The ICRC is a club established by amateur radio operators for the purpose of scientific exploration, and maintaining communications in times of emergency. We currently meet monthly at the American Red Cross in Farmington Connecticut on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30PM.

FCC modify workplace rules while working drills

FCC has adopted new rules regarding employee participation in drills.

Employees are now allowed to participate in drills. Government-sponsored drills are unlimited. Non-government sponsored drills are limited to one hour per week and two 72 hours drills per year.

additionally, new exemption was also granted for school teachers using ham radio in the classroom, and rules for stations like W1AW were clarified.

ICRC has linked Bristol and Burlington sites to enhance operating coverage for members and all amateurs operators.
Operation is 24/7. 146.88 Mhz and 442.850 in Bristol and 147.150 MHz in Burlington.
